Creating decent working futures in Australia was a collaboration with Laura Davy, Brendan Churchill, Leah Ruppanner, Joshua Healy, Andreas Pekarek, Rae Cooper and Elizabeth Hill. We held an Academy of Social Sciences-funded Workshop in 2022 and commissioned a survey of citizen attitudes. Laura Davy and I published a report based on the future of care work in 2023.
Australian Women’s Working Futures is a collaborative, multi-disciplinary project funded by the University of Sydney, an ARC Linkage grant, and an ARC Discovery Project, that I have co-led with Rae Cooper, Elizabeth Hill and Meraiah Foley from the University of Sydney. A high-profile report, based on a national survey of workers aged under 40 and focus groups, was published in 2018. Recent reports have been on: retail workers and technological change, gender equality and technological change in the legal profession, and the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic on retail workers.
